Aspen Mesa  Home Owners Association

Mountain Community Living

Aspen Mesa Estates sits atop the historic Missouri Heights bench overlooking the Roaring Fork Valley, just northeast of El Jebel. The sweeping views of the Elk Mountain Range that define our community are the same vistas that drew homesteaders here in the late 1800s, when ranching families settled this high mesa in search of open land, clear skies, and a life shaped by the mountains. That heritage carried forward to the subdivision’s incorporation in 1968, when the original ranchlands were thoughtfully divided into lots that preserved the sense of openness and independence.

Today, Aspen Mesa Estates includes 109 lots ranging from one to seven acres, offering residents the rare combination of quiet, rural living with immediate access to the best of the Roaring Fork Valley. Within minutes, you can hike Basalt Mountain, fish the Gold Medal waters of the Roaring Fork River, or enjoy the restaurants, shops, and services of Willits Town Center. Positioned between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, the cultural, recreational, and wellness amenities of both towns are less than thirty minutes away. Amid these conveniences, Aspen Mesa retains the character that has always made Missouri Heights special: open pastureland, wildlife corridors, dark night skies, and long views. Our community values stewardship of land, water, and shared resources, and works to preserve the spacious, quiet, and scenic environment that first inspired settlement here more than a century ago, connected to everything that makes Colorado living extraordinary.
